A quick poll in the channel
A question, the options, and everyone votes with one tap. The count rises live as the team responds, no spreadsheet, no endless thread, no "did anyone actually decide this?".
Cadenio ChatStop deciding in meetings nobody minutes, or in threads that vanish. In Cadenio Chat the team opens a poll, votes live, and closes it. What got decided becomes a permanent record, not a lost message.
Not every decision is the same. A poll settles most of them in seconds. When the matter is serious, a decision room gathers proposals and closes with a sealed summary.
A question, the options, and everyone votes with one tap. The count rises live as the team responds, no spreadsheet, no endless thread, no "did anyone actually decide this?".
A dedicated space where the person who opened it invites participants, collects proposals, accepts the winning one, and seals the record. From there it's read-only: nobody rewrites what was agreed.
Closed or sealed, the decision lives in the workspace's permanent history: the question, the options, who voted for what and when. When someone asks "why did we do it this way?", the answer is already there.
Leadership & committees
Approve a budget or an exception without scheduling yet another meeting. Each vote is recorded with name and timestamp.
Operations
Pick between three shortlisted vendors. The poll closes in minutes and the result stays attached to the process channel.
Compliance & legal
Decide a policy exception in a decision room. The sealed record is evidence when an auditor asks how the call was made.
For operations and compliance, a decision with no trail is a decision that becomes a debate again six months on. Here the decision is born auditable: who took part, how each person voted, which option won, and when it was sealed.
No. Only the person who opened it (the initiator) closes a poll or seals a decision room. Everyone else takes part by voting or proposing, without being able to close on the conductor's behalf.
Yes. Voting, following along live, closing and sealing all work in the web app, the embedded panel inside Cadenio, and the mobile app (iOS and Android).
Once closed or sealed, the decision is read-only. If the context changed, you open a new one. The record of what was decided before stays intact.
No. Decisions are native to Cadenio Chat and work in a standalone workspace. When your team also uses Cadenio, a decision room can be tied to the process that prompted it.
We're rolling out Cadenio Chat in waves during the beta. Join now to use decisions, polls and the rest of the chat for free and help shape the roadmap.
