HR & People
Offboarding that closes every loop, legally and securely
Most offboardings end with active credentials, missing paperwork, and final settlement done at the last minute. We put together the complete process — notice period, IT revocation, exit documentation, and exit interview — each with an owner, due date, and automatic escalation.
No signup required. PDF checklist ready to run.

Why this matters
What a structured offboarding guarantees
No active access after exit
IT gets an automatic task as soon as offboarding opens. VPN, email, SaaS, and physical access revoked within 24h. No manual exceptions, no credential risk.
Legal compliance at every step
Statutory deadlines mapped as tasks with automatic due dates. Every exit document archived with a timestamp. The company proves what it did and when, without hunting through emails.
Auditable record of every exit
Every cycle generates a complete record: who approved, what was returned, which access was revoked and when. Ready for internal audit, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 requirements.
Security & audit
Every exit becomes a compliance record
When someone leaves, risk lives in the details: forgotten access, unsigned documents, missed statutory deadlines. Cadenio turns every exit into a traceable cycle with evidence at each step.
IT revocation as a process step
The moment an offboarding opens, IT receives a task with the full access list. If not completed within 24h, automatic escalation fires. No forgotten credentials, no security gap.
Documents with timestamp and signature
Termination agreements, FGTS guides, and resignation letters sent and signed via DocuSign within the flow. The file is automatically attached to the exit record with date and time.
Cycle report in one click
Every exit has its own dashboard: completed steps, time per step, owners, evidence. Exportable as PDF for audit or labor dispute.

Plugs into your stack
Doesn't replace your HRIS. Orchestrates the exit around it.
When an employee is marked as terminated in your HR system, Cadenio receives the event and starts the flow automatically with name, role, exit date, and manager. Data stays in your HRIS; the process stays in Cadenio.

Start with HR, expand across teams
A process per team doesn't scale. One platform for all teams does.
Cadenio starts with the HR exit and expands to the teams that also need traceable processes. The same tool that handles offboarding handles onboarding, access audits, and month-end close.

Frequently asked questions
Quick answers before the next exit
Does Cadenio replace the HRIS or payroll system?
No. Cadenio doesn't calculate final settlements or file statutory reports. It orchestrates the process: ensures the payroll step happens on time, with the right owner, and archives the evidence. The filing itself happens in your existing payroll system.
How does IT access revocation work?
When an offboarding opens in Cadenio, IT automatically receives a task with the full access list: email, VPN, corporate SaaS. If the task isn't completed within 24h, the IT manager receives an escalation. Everything is logged with a timestamp.
Does it work for terminations with or without cause?
Yes. The blueprint has configurable variants for each type: voluntary resignation, termination with cause, termination without cause, or mutual agreement. Each variant automatically adjusts deadlines and required documents.
Can I customize the steps for my company?
Yes. The blueprint is a starting point. You edit, add, or remove steps. Each step has an owner, a due date relative to the last working day, custom fields, and space for attachments. Works for 5 or 25 steps.
How long until we run our first offboarding?
Less than a day. Download the blueprint, import it into Cadenio, adjust owners and due dates to fit your company, and run. Most HR teams ship the first cycle in 2 to 4 hours.
